Eight more people died with measles and the disease-like symptoms in the country in the last 24 hours till 8:00 am on Wednesday, May 13, as the contagious disease continued to spread.Of the new casualties, one was confirmed, and the remaining seven were suspected measles deaths, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).In the past day, DGHS recorded an additional 1,489 suspected measles cases and 126 confirmed ones.With this, the confirmed measles deaths and cases stood at 69 and 7,150, respectively, from March 15 to date. The health directorate said it has been recording measles-related data since March 15.
